          First Alert have been teaching FIRST AID FOR SCHOOLS to children from YEAR 4 to YEAR 11.

The course is adapted and designed to meet the requirements of the varying age groups and learning ability.

The course is based on a two year programme with each class receiving four sessions per year with children taking an active part in each session.

Courses have been well received by schools taking up the programme, teachers have reported that they have experienced the greater impact on their more challenging pupils who would normally find traditional methods of learning difficult.They have become fully engaged in all the practical exercises and have therefore enjoyed a level of success they may not have achieved previously, this has also been the case for pupils who have additional special needs, such as Downs Syndrome, Dyspraxia, Autism and Deafness

Casualty management Incident management, The unconscious casualty, Medical emergencies, C.P.R. Bleeding and Bandaging and much more.
